The links AI can't explain

I often have the problem of generating masses of nodes with no dots or links between them. Recently I was looking at an AI Obsidian vault organiser, the Obsidian-Local-LLM-Pipeline, which runs on a local LLM (Llama, Meta's open-weight model family). I've previously tried Llama on my local OpenClaw agent network, but it wasn't powerful enough to support it.

  • I don't think I have the problem it solves, though: my vault is essentially all .md files, and they're already quite organised, because a bot filed them in the first place. They're all tagged, dated, and consistently formatted, so I can probably filter them by tag and get decent results.
  • I do believe that running your own engine locally, inside your own world, makes that world more portable and independently operational.
  • The main question remains the links: how do you cluster things? Linking with AI seems to give a sense of false security; when I actually try to understand why things were linked a specific way, sometimes there's no apparent reason.
  • And the semantic schema generated per note: what happens to it? Is it appended to the note body?

I'd like to try it on my SlipBox and see how it works, so I definitely want to look at it a bit more.
