The dashboard question nobody asks

A follow-up on the complex-looking dashboards: the ones that organise all your chatbot conversations from various AIs into folders, for example. I've seen designs that look beautiful and work well in both Notion and Obsidian. To me, they're missing the main design question: what is the goal of the dashboard? Is it to simplify things, or to confuse and overwhelm?

Why do you want to put every conversation you have into your dashboard? The idea, I think, is to simplify, and those AI conversation notes are probably something that should be used by AI, not by you personally.

Sometimes I think I want a dashboard that I open in the morning and that shows me only one thing I have to do today, and nothing else. That would probably make me super productive!
